To find out where in your area there are/will be volunteers to provide such help, I recommend you telephone your local public library and ask if that information for your area has come out, If it has (often that info is not available until sometime in Feb.), then ask where the locations for free income tax filing assistance for low-income people are/will be and the dates and the times of the free service. Keep in mind, if you go as early as possible during the day of a free session and on a date as early as possible, you will probably not have to wait too long to get help. Some volunteer locations require individuals to make advance appointments, too.
If you dont know how to find the phone # of your local public library, it will be in the printed white pages phone directory delivered sometime last year to your home. The listing should be in the Government section within the city/village/town of your location.

Be sure to nest the phrase public library in quotation marks and nest the name of your city/town/village and state in quotation marks.
