Sponsored Review: Enavose H2Osis Black Tea Quench Mask, Plus ...

Sponsored Review

Hi everyone! :) How are you planning to spend the weekend? I?m going to hit town (have some serious shopping to do!) and if I?m lucky I?ll manage a movie in the afternoon.

Okay, so here I have a neat little package from Enavose, an up-and-coming premium beauty brand launched in Singapore last year with a commitment to being natural and eco-friendly.?I love?the card that came with the package!

I appreciate the amount of thought and attention to detail the brand put into wrapping up the package ? crisp paper, string, personalised card ? if you were to receive a parcel from someone who loves you, it would look like this. :)

Underneath the crisp wrapper is a sleek brown box bearing the brand?s logo.

Enavose?s products are made in Switzerland, and the brand ensures that these products:

  • do not contain parabens, SLES (that?s Sodium Laureth Sulphate), mineral oil or allergenic fragrance,
  • are not tested on animals,
  • contain natural preservatives whenever possible,
  • are tested under dermatological supervision, and
  • are made from ingredients and raw materials derived safely, with species protection in mind. ? ??

Nestled in the box is one of their best-selling products ? the?H2Osis Black Tea Quench Mask, along with a couple of sachets of?Black Tea with Mediterranean Eucalyptus and Oil of Bergamot, and a magic scroll?(contents of which shall remain secret).

The tea?s to be enjoyed together with the mask. I thought it was a pretty clever idea! Prior to this I?d never had black tea (my staple is green tea), so imagine my delight. :)

Here?s the star of today?s post ? the H2Osis Black Tea Quench Mask, what Enavose calls ?the ultimate hydration haven?.

As its name suggests, Sweet Black Tea is the key ingredient in this product. Swiss Glacial Water, Arnica Montana Flower, Gentian Root, Yarrow, and Lecithin are also active ingredients.

The mask promises to:

  • moisturise the skin from within,
  • revitalise dull skin in just 15 minutes,
  • hydrate the skin all week long with time-released Swiss Glacial Water,
  • reinforce the skin?s ability to retain higher levels of moisture,
  • leave skin feeling softer, suppler and invigorated.

Out of the box, the mask is encased in a round jar with an airless mechanism. The mechanism ensures that the product does not come into contact with air or contaminants and is kept at its optimum freshness.

Remove the white round lid and you?ll see a small opening in the center of a raised white disk. To dispense the product, push the disk downwards completely.

Ta-daa! The product emerges from the small opening and there you have one use?s worth of product. How convenient and hygienic! No more sticking spatulas (which I always?lose down the sink) or fingers into the tub. I must say I really like this method of dispensation.

Despite using a moisturiser on a daily basis, I make it a point to use a hydration mask at least once a week. For some reason, I was suffering from a bout of dull skin with some redness on the cheeks the week I was supposed to start using this mask.

I usually try not to embark on a new skin care regime or use a new product until my skin resumes its normal state, but I decided to give this a whirl because I was due for a hydration mask.

The mask is a pleasant, very pale aqua gel with no distinct scent. To use, apply generously to cleansed face and throat, avoiding the eye area. After 10 to 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water. You may mask once a week or whenever the skin requires a moisture boost.

Upon application, the mask made my skin feel cool and nice. I waited the full 15 minutes and washed off as directed to find my skin brighter and softer. While I didn?t expect it to do much more than that, I woke up the next day to very soft and supple skin, and the redness on my cheeks had completely disappeared ? bonus! :) I really like this mask.
