Margaret Snopkowski, 51, of Michigan, missed the birth of her first grandchild Oct. 24. Instead, she was hospitalized 300 miles away as fungal meningitis from tainted back pain drugs ravaged her system. Congressional committees this week are probing the outbreak that has killed 32.
