El Dorado Christmas Parade

It was another successful run for El Dorado's Annual Christmas Parade.

Hundreds of spectators gathered for this year's parade featuring the theme from a book titled "Tales from the North Pole."

The parade started at the intersection of 18th Street and North West Avenue and made its way downtown.

Dozens of floats from different organizations like the Salvation Army, Girl Scouts and local businesses participated in the parade as well as customized cars.

Officials say that every year this parade brings the community together to enjoy the holiday season.

"This is something that the entire community has a lot of pride in and every year it's one of the few annual events to where literally thousands of people come out all throughout El Dorado and the community."??

Cash prizes were awarded to organizations with the best entries in the parade.
