Hydra Series offers water protection for iPhone

Ballistic has launched its latest case for the iPhone, offering waterproofing for depths of up to seven feet. Dubbed the Hydra Series, the new case offers the same eight foot drop protection guarantee as other Ballistic cases. Other features include quick access port covers, a scratch-resistant screen protector, and waterproof meshing that allows sound to escape clearly from the case. The Hydra Series can be ordered online in a variety of colors from Ballistic's website for $80.

Skitch update brings improved annotation features

Skitch for Mac, a tool for annotating documents and images, has been updated to v2.6. New to this release is the ability to adjust the canvas size by hitting the plus signs on any edge of an image. Additionally, the canvas will automatically be adjusted when annotations are placed outside the edges of an image. Version 2.6 also offers more precise shapes, neater annotations, and the ability to hide the advanced screenshot options. Skitch is a free download through the Mac App Store.
