There are reasons MMA has made me a bit sour. And the reasons are admittedly pretty petty. I'll just ask you, Sorter, a few questions to see if you've experienced similar events as I have with the MMA stuff.
First off, what is the local MMA scene like where you are from? Are there a bunch of wussies who wear Tapout shirts who think they are tough and think they have the right to act tough (when you know damn well that they are wussified) just because they've done some MMA club sparring? If so, does it annoy you or do you just brush it off? Do you know the type I am referring to?
Secondly, at the local MMA events, is the competition pretty pathetic? Like, do you ever attend those things and just itch for a wrestler to come in and clean house? The local MMA stuff in my area is laughable...and the chips these guys have on their shoulders is even more laughable.
Thirdly, I assume you were at least a relatively successful wrestler. Have you ever watched guys who you used to beat the shit out of in wrestling fight in a Pay Per View event and become moderately successful? If so, how did it make you feel? Did it make you question the legitimacy of the fighters in the UFC or did it make you think of the "what ifs?" Did it piss you off in any way?
