The first idea was already revealed in the previous paragraph and it?s so simple that many will miss it entirely. What is it? Decide. Just decide to change things. Go from passive to active. From static to dynamic. You can, and I?m confident that you will.
The second idea is to look for the simple things that you can implement immediately to make small incremental gains.
There are 3 easy ways to boost revenue and they work in virtually every business.
- Increase the number of new customers and clients you serve. Suffice to say that, with creativity, the options to increase your customer base are many. Just one I can share with you is to institute a contest on your Facebook Page for your current customers and fans.
- Increase the average ticket size of every sale. When you visit retailers and you see items surrounding the register, that?s what they are doing. Trying to increase the size of the sale by enticing you to add impulse items to your purchase. Take five minutes, sit quietly and think of ways to do that within your business.
- Increase the frequency of the customer purchase. Get them to come in more often. I?ve seen this done in businesses that many say it does not apply to. A large number of auto repair shops offer an ?oil change membership? which gets their customer back in the shop regularly. How about your business? What can you do to take this idea and adapt it to your organization?
