Samsung has laid out the specs for Series 5 and Series 7 notebooks, which will make its appearance in October, alongside Windows 8. The machines has been billed as a Slate PC, which means that it will ship with a touchscreen display and the Samsung S Pen stylus. The display measures 11.6 inches with 1366x768px resolution on Series 5 model, and 1920x1080 pixels on Series 7. The Series 7 slates will be packed with an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, and integrated 128GB SSD. The Series 5 costs $749 with the keyboard dock and $649 without; while the Series 7 has been priced at $1,199.
